Guidon Design was directly engaged by the State of Indiana Family & Social Services Administration to program and began the design for the NeuroDiagnostic Institute and Advanced Treatment Center (NDI) in Indianapolis, Indiana. This 159 bed facility represents a novel model of care for behavioral health in Indiana, a state-of-the-art facility. The NDI is located on the Community East Hospital campus.

This behavioral health focused facility includes the following units: Adult Severe Mental Illness (15-bed unit), Research (12-bed unit), Forensic (24-bed unit), Assessment and Diagnostic (15-bed unit), Acute (15-bed unit), ID/DD/SMI Dual Diagnosis (12-bed unit), Substance Use / Severe Mental Illness (12-bed unit), Stabilization (12-bed unit), Adolescent (30-bed unit), and Child (12-bed Unit). BSA Lifestructures was selected as the architect of record for the project. Guidon Design continued to work as a subconsultant leading the programming, planning and schematic design of this approximately $70 Million project
