The Construct Hybrid Operating Room project is the build out of an existing shell space in the surgery suite at the Kansas City, Mo VAMC. It encompasses approximately 1,930 sf. The build out consist of a 1,200 sf hybrid operating room, control room, equipment room, scrub station and sterile storage.

The largest challenge of this project is maintaining operation of the existing surgical suite. Guidon Design is currently finalizing the construction documents for this complex phased project.

The overall intent of the project is to modernize the services at the VA allowing doctors to work with the latest equipment and veterans to receive the best treatment and care. Approximate Construction Cost: $2.5M
