Expanding access to healthcare in a growing community

Hendricks Regional Health recently transformed an existing space within the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA in Avon, Indiana, into a specialty MRI clinic, bringing advanced diagnostic imaging services closer to patients who need them most. Designed to meet the growing demand for outpatient imaging, the project improves access to care while providing greater convenience for patients throughout the surrounding community.

Turtle Creek Apartments first in Indiana to use Affordable and Workforce Housing Tax Credits

Earlier this month, community leaders gathered to celebrate the completion of the renovation and site expansion of the Turtle Creek Apartments on Indianapolis’ north side. The redevelopment preserved more than 260 existing affordable housing units while adding 55 new apartments for residents earning approximately  50-60% of the area median income. Guidon supported the project with MEP and civil engineering serves and interiors, across the entire site.

This project demonstrates how strategic investment, thoughtful planning, and strong partnerships can strengthen communities while preserving affordability. Along with renovated and newly constructed residences, the development includes supportive services that connect residents with employment, behavioral health, and resources.

The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana celebrates makeover

Guidon’s Interiors team recently completed a renovation for the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI), leading the project from the assessment of existing conditions through design renderings, and final renovation. The renovation thoughtfully transformed the space into a welcoming and functional environment that enhances the experience of patients, visitors, and staff alike. The design incorporated a calming, timeless material palette paired with durable, high-performance finishes to support both comfort and long-term functionality. A key focus of the project was addressing acoustical challenges common in healthcare environments with high ceilings, and hard flooring surfaces. To improve sound quality and reduce noise levels in the reception and lobby areas, the team integrated strategically placed acoustic panels that seamlessly blend with the overall design aesthetic. The result is a refreshed, healing-focused environment that balances visual appeal, performance, and occupant well-being.
